Ten Years On: A Virtual Conversation on Truth and Reconciliation

In 2015, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada released its final report, including . These Calls continue to serve as a powerful mandate for individuals, communities, and institutions to pursue truth, justice, and meaningful reconciliation. 

As we mark the 10th anniversary of this landmark report, »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s University invites you to join us in a moment of reflection, dialogue, and commitment to continued learning. On June 12, we invite you to a virtual event bringing together Indigenous leaders, university representatives, and alumni for an important conversation about Truth and Reconciliation—what progress has been made, what work remains, and what is still urgently needed.

We are honoured to welcome Chancellor Shelagh Rogers to moderate the discussion. Chancellor Rogers is the 16th Chancellor of »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý, Truth and Reconciliation Commission Honorary Witness – Métis, Co-editor of the "Speaking My Truth" series from the Aboriginal Healing Foundation, and recovering broadcast journalist.
