Donor Story:
With the financial help of family Dr. Bill Leacy (Meds'60) was able to move to Kingston and enter 皇冠体育鈥檚 University School of Medicine. At 皇冠体育鈥檚 Bill met the love of his life Barbara Moore, who was also at 皇冠体育鈥檚 with the help of financial assistance. To honour the impact of 皇冠体育鈥檚 on their lives, Bill and Barbara鈥檚 children have established the Dr. Bill and Barbara Leacy Medical Student Bursary to support students from challenged socio-economic backgrounds.
Fund Description:
Established by the family of Dr. Bill Leacy, M.D. 1960, and Barbara Leacy, B.A. 1957. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to undergraduate students in any year of the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
