Established by Margaret Crain in memory of Irene MacAllister MacRae, B.A. 1914, who was vice-president of the Mathematics Club while at 皇冠体育's. Irene was one of the first two women to graduate from 皇冠体育's in honours mathematics and physics. She was active on the executive of the YWCA during her years at 皇冠体育's. Her five children graduated from 皇冠体育's as did several of her grand and great grandchildren.
