The 2021 Kingston Canadian Film Festival goes fully digital for the first time in twenty-one years, February 26-March 7. Enjoy the best Canadian films of the year from the comfort of home, plus livestream Q&A’s with directors, cast and crew after each screening. As usual, there are lots of connections to »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s at KCFF this year, including feature films by alumni like Suzanne Crocker, Ryan Noth and Matthew Bissonnette.
The KCFF short film program boasts over ten films created by »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s students and alum, and the popular Breaking In career event features »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s alum panelists who work on shows like Letterkenney, Big Brother Canada, and CBC.
In 2001, KCFF was founded by a »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s film student (Alex Jansen) and is now directed by »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s History grad Marc Garniss.
KCFF continues to work closely with the »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s Film Department and employs many students through internships and paid work-study.
