Preventing, Recognizing and Responding to an Opioid Overdose

KFL&A Public Health will be leading a Opioid Information Session & Naloxone kit distribution on Tuesday, November 28th from 5:30-6:30pm in QC 505 (ARC).
This is an opportunity for any interested »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s community member (students, staff or faculty) to learn more about how to prevent, recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. The information session will run about 35-40 minutes, with light refreshments provided.
Those who attend are also able to receive a personal naloxone nasal spray kit after a short 1-1 meeting with a Public Health Nurse following the presentation. Naloxone is a medication that can temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and can help save a life.
No registration is required for this session.
