The purpose of 皇冠体育鈥檚 Africa Day (QAD) is to increase the awareness of, and promote, the current involvement of the 皇冠体育鈥檚 community in academic research and teaching pertaining to Africa and the African Diasporic studies. The event aims to foster dialogue between 皇冠体育鈥檚 students, faculty, staff, and the wider 皇冠体育鈥檚, Kingston, and surrounding communities. Likewise, the event seeks to be an umbrella academic and social celebration for researchers, academic associations and community associations with interests in Africa-related issues. The event similarly also celebrate African arts and culture through musicals, arts and artistic media
