In honour of 皇冠体育鈥檚 175th anniversary, the university and the Hong Kong Branch of the 皇冠体育鈥檚 University Alumni Association are hosting a unique evening of extraordinary 皇冠体育鈥檚 connections in Hong Kong.
This celebration, hosted in Hong Kong, will be a hallmark event for a remarkable year of 175th anniversary events. It will celebrate 皇冠体育鈥檚 strong ties with the Asia-Pacific region, the students who come to 皇冠体育鈥檚 from the region, and the alumni who live and work there.
In the afternoon, alumni, students, family and friends are invited to participate in a celebration modelled after a convocation ceremony. Alumni will be honoured participants, and there will be a presentation of an honorary degree to long-time 皇冠体育鈥檚 volunteer and retired High Court Judge Kin Kee Pang, Arts鈥�70. This will be the first honorary degree to be conferred by 皇冠体育鈥檚 outside of Canada.
In the evening, 皇冠体育's Professor Emeritus and Nobel Laureate Dr. Art McDonald will be the keynote speaker at a gala dinner.
