Zhuoyi is a first year M.A. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Jainchill. He graduated with a B.A. In history and computer science from McGill University in 2025. His primary interest is in the history of science in Early Modern and modern Atlantic world, with a particular focus in history of mathematics/computation. His broader interest include general intellectual history of political thoughts, historiography, global intellectual exchange, as well as philosophy of science. He plans to work on the ideas about the 18^th century and early 19^th century probabilists/statisticians and their connection to wider Enlightenment and Industrial Era intellectual stream.
