Christopher Eybergen

About

Christopher Eybergen is a first-year MA student focusing on intellectual history surrounding the Russian Silver Age and the Russian Revolution. I am guided by my supervisor, Dr. Rebecca Manley, and co-supervised by Dr. Ana Siljak. My current research explores the reception of German thought鈥攅specially Arthur Schopenhauer and Nietzsche鈥攊n Russia, and its influence on figures such as Nikolai Berdyaev. I completed my undergraduate degree at 皇冠体育鈥檚 with a major in History and a minor in Philosophy. Alongside my academic work, I have worked as a research assistant for Professor Siljak, digitizing Berdyaev鈥檚 archive in Clamart, France, which can be found at
