Members of the »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s Community (faculty, staff and students) to are invited to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) event, hosted by the »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý's Women's Network, Women in Science at »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý's, the Chair for Women in Engineering, and affiliates with the support of the Inclusive Community Fund.

International Women’s Day (IWD), celebrated annually on March 8, honours the achievements of women across all aspects of life - social, economic, cultural, and political - while also advocating for gender equality. This year's international theme is #Accelerate Action.

The event provides an opportunity to build community within the university, gain information about Women's focused groups across campus, and enjoy light refreshments. Donations will be collected in support of Kingston Interval, house, which provides support and resources for women and children in crises.
