The Ethical Recruitment Journey: Choose Your Method 鈥 GREB/SGSPA鈥痠s a flexible training course designed for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers at 皇冠体育鈥檚 University. Developed by the Vice-Principal Research Portfolio in collaboration with the School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (SGSPA) and the General Research Ethics Board (GREB), this course equips you with the knowledge and tools to ethically recruit participants, meet REB requirements, and uphold the highest standards of research integrity.

Depending on the recruitment methodology or combination of methodologies you select, the time required to complete the course may vary. You鈥檒l also have access to downloadable tools and resources designed to support your learning and help you effectively complete the recruitment section of your REB application. 

Learning Outcomes 

Upon completion of this course learners will be able to: 

  • Ascertain Initial Point of Contacts (IPCs) (or 鈥淚PC tools鈥) that meet the study鈥檚 proposed recruitment method to be able to adhere to the standards of non-health-related research (GREB at 皇冠体育鈥檚 University). 
  • Locate and complete the appropriate GREB application with details outlining your chosen recruitment strategy and approach. 
  • Identify recruitment strategies centred on the chosen study design methodology and describe these clearly for REB submissions.
